Incorporated urologic cancers on 10 October 1997; name changed to the Cochrane Prostatic Diseases and Urologic Cancers Group. The incorporation of and the expansion of scope to include urologic cancers was done with the consultation and coordination of Iain Chalmers and Chris Williams on behalf of the Subgroup of CRG coordination, and was approved by the Chair of the Cochrane Steering Group's Registration Group.
Incorporated urology-related renal topics on 23 October 2014; name changed to Cochrane Urology on 22 April 2015. The incorporation of and the expansion of scope to include urology-related renal topics was carried out with the support of Jonathan Craig on behalf of the Cochrane Renal Group, and was approved by Editor in Chief David Tovey and the Monitoring and Registration Committee.
