About Korean Satellite of Cochrane Urology

Korean Satellite of Cochrane Urology is based out of, and supported by the Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine (https://medical.yonsei.ac.kr/) and Wonju Severance Christian Hospital (https://www.ywmc.or.kr/web/www/home). Our purpose is to promote the development and dissemination of high-quality systematic reviews to guide evidence-based clinical practice in urology, especially in Korea and other Asia-Pacific countries. We not only provide editorial support for Cochrane Urology, but also provide a new point of contact for individuals and author teams who are interested in getting involved, especially those from South Korea and surrounding countries. While our work is primarily related to Cochrane Urology, we also support and work with local and regional Cochrane entities (Cochrane Korea, Cochrane Complementary Medicine Korea) to increase the impact of Cochrane for relevant local stakeholders (e.g. institutions [academics], medical professional societies [clinicians], governments [policymakers], consumers [patients]).
